Beauty – සුන්දරත්වය
“… beauty is the very manifestation of imperishability. The
fleeting greatness of word and deed can endure in the world to the extent that beauty is bestowed upon it. Without the beauty, that is, the radiant glory in which potential immortality is made manifest in the human world, all human life would be futile and no greatness could endure.”
සුන්දරත්වය චිරස්ථායීභාවය විද්යාමානවීමම වන්නේය. වචනය සහ ක්රියාවේ තාවකාලික ශ්රේෂ්ටත්වය ලොවෙහි නොනැසී පැවතිය හැක්කේ සුන්දරත්වය ඒ මත තැන්පත් කෙරෙන තාක් දුරට පමණි. සුන්දරත්වයෙන්, එනම්, මානව ලෝකය තුළ භව්ය අමරණීයත්වය එතුළින් ප්රකාශයට පත් කෙරෙන කාන්තිමත් මහිමයෙන් තොරව, සියළු මානව ජීවිතය නිරර්ථක වනු ඇත, කිසිදු ශ්රේෂටත්වයකට නොනැසී පැවතීමට නොහැකි වනු ඇත.
